Raising Godly Children

Proverbs 22:6  Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Isaiah 54:13  All your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children.

We have found a large need in our area for children between 0 and 7 these children are starving.  Babies are being carried in the streets by mothers to drunk to know if the baby is still attached to her back.  These mothers are also breast feeding babies while intoxicated.  These children are already suffering malnutrition.

We find Children at school going age though neglected by parents who spend most days under the influence of alcohol and drugs  can fend for themselves to a degree, but are still going hungry.  Most schools have a feeding scheme at the schools where children will receive an apple and a sandwich, compared to what we see as a balanced day of three plates of food.

Who is willing to feed and house our babies walking the streets?

We want to give the children in our community the very best start we possibly can. Making sure that they are healthy and well nourished to ensure that they get the best possible start on life.

We have a nursery at HOPE that can house 4 to 6 babies (should we need to we will make place for more) these little ones are taken care of when their parents cannot do so themselves or have to leave their children behind so that they can work.

We are running this ministry

Our happy story - Tsegofatso
Our happy story – Tsegofatso

as  follows:

All children receive breakfast at 10h00 every morning. We then have Christian activities, teaching reading and writing, songs, sports, games with them until 12h00.  Between 12h30 and 13h00 lunch is served.

We are trusting God for a generation

Your Kids are our children…

of God filled, Holy Spirit Powered children of Tomorrow.  Our future will only change when we change what foundations;  our children are being built on.

Psalm 127:3-5  Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate

The faces of our children remind us everyday that we cannot give-up, we have to continue the work God has called us for…
